Call for Applications for Travel Awards
Travel Award Information
As with previous years, we are providing travel awards of up to $1,500 for a select number of students and trainees to offset major travel costs to the 2024 conference, including economy airfare, hotel rooms, and conference registration. For those driving, a standard per mile coverage and hotel parking will be covered as part of allowable costs.
A note that travel awards will be distributed through Columbia University. Please do not book your own travel, hotel rooms or pay for conference registration if you are applying for a travel award, as we will not be able to reimburse you should you be selected for an award. These expenses must be booked through the Columbia University team and comply with their policies.
If you are awarded a Travel Award, the Columbia University team will reach out to you directly via email to make these bookings. Travel awards will not cover flight upgrades or services, hotel incidentals (room service, tips), car rental, meals, or other expenses.
Applications were due August 12, 2024.
